【Master Series- The Relationship Garden Part 2】 (One Session)

Lecturer: Dr. Jock Mckeen

Dr. Jock Mckeen and Dr. Huang Huanxiang have backgrounds rooted in the West and East respectively, with an age gap of nearly 20 years. Despite these differences, they have worked together for 40 years, until the passing of Dr. Huang Huanxiang. The two of them had taken intimacy as their core value, developed a psychological theory of personal growth, and explored together the communication model within the development of a relationship. From the development of an individual’s internal process, they have also gradually explored the abstract ideas of love and intimacy. 

Following last year’s speech given by Dr. Jock Mckeen at the Dancing With the Elephant Foundation, this year we have invited the teacher again to explain "The Relationship Garden" for us. The teacher will explain the concepts from different perspectives, providing us with a greater understanding of the book. During the class, the Chinese interpretation will be given promptly. We welcome everyone to learn with us about the master's mental journey of exploring relationships. 

Dr. Jock Mckeen認為人要完整與全面的發展，最重要的就是與另一個人建立「深刻與誠實」的關係。在關係裡，自己無可迴避地會看到內心最深層的渴望、過去未了的創傷、長期發展的模式。這些都將於互動中一一浮現。

這樣的關係需要個人有「覺」的能力，能覺察、反省，有能力面對自己的黑暗面。

Dr. Jock Mckeen 對「親密」這個心靈狀態所提出的定義：「親密是一種存有狀態，把自己最深處的部分向他人也向自己展現，沒有任何偽裝或防衛。所以，親密是透過自我揭露而呈現的脆弱和了解狀態，不是經由一般人際關係中的角色和義務而達到的狀態。」

那麼，究竟人我關係中的價值核心是什麼？我們究竟該如何真誠袒露的面對伴侶、家人、摯愛才能建立深刻與誠實的關係。

本次再次邀請大師Dr. Jock Mckeen 為我們接續說明他眼中的《新關係花園》一書。

主講人簡介

Dr. Jock Mckee (中文譯名麥基卓)，是醫學博士、文學博士及針灸師，他曾在英國牛津的中國針灸學苑研習針灸，並獲有英國頒發的針灸開業執照。

Dr. Jock Mckeen與黃煥祥博士在2004年成立海文學院，海文學院舉辦了各種個人、關係連結、專業成長團體課程，學員們在課程結束時都能習得擁有充實的人生、健康的關係及有效溝通的能力。
