\n \n\n【Satir Model Companion Basic Course】(3-1)，(4 Sessions)\nInstructor：Tien-An Chang \n\n【Course Introduction】\nThe Satir Model has become prominent in the Chinese community\, and many individuals are eager to learn this approach to help others. However\, often in their eagerness to assist others\, they unintentionally neglect their own personal growth. Simultaneously\, during the process of supporting others\, they frequently fail to focus on addressing their own challenges and seeking technical improvement. As a result\, they miss out on valuable opportunities for self-development and may feel frustrated in the process of assisting others. \nIt is said that many people\, upon witnessing Mrs. Satir’s interactions with others\, felt a sense of magic. In a short period\, noticeable changes occurred\, and individuals seemed to radiate brightness. As a result\, her work was considered nothing short of miraculous. However\, Mrs. Satir responded with great sincerity: “Many years ago\, I found the match in my life through the candlelight in someone else’s heart\, illuminating the candle within my own heart. Now\, I use the candlelight within my heart to help others find the match in their lives\, lighting the candle within their own hearts.” \nWhat she wants to convey is that if we want to help others as she does\, we can also light our own candle first and then accompany others in lighting their own candles. For me\, the key is the “self-healing” of the companion because when we experience and understand the process of self-healing\, we can better accompany others in their own self-healing. Please note my choice of words: to accompany others in their “self-healing” rather than to “heal others.” \n\n【Course Description】\nIf you resonate with the Satir Model shared by Teacher Tien-An and have had positive experiences with self-healing using these methods (four key questions of the learning map\, transitioning from expectations to desires\, and engaging in dialogue with your younger self)\, and you also wish to accompany others in such ‘self-healing\,’ then you are welcome to join us for discussions! \nThis course spans six months\, divided into three stages of online classes (please refer to the instructions in the registration form for specific class times and requirements).
\n \n\n“Power of Now” Book Club (6 Classes)\nInstructor: Luo Zhizhong \n【Course Introduction】\nWhy is there so much suffering in life?
\n \n\nNon-Action Companionship– Accompanying Oneself with Craniosacral Therapy: Listening to the Body (8 Sessions). \nLecturer：Hu Shuiyun \n【Course Introduction】\n1.

\n\n【講師簡介】\n陳怡如 / Yi Ju Chen \n【專業證照】\n台灣醫師執照\n台灣婦產科醫師專科執照\n【經歷】\n婦女泌尿次專科醫師訓練\n生產準備與產兆講師\n台東馬偕醫院性侵害蒐證影片製作\n曾任職美國矽谷MEandMine兒童情緒教育手作公司\n【現任】\n創立SWEE Academy致力家庭性教育/女性健康\n臉書「奶酒的童書分享」版主 \n \n\nTeenage Years\, What’s Going On? (5 Sessions)\nInstructor: Chen Yiru \n【Course Objectives】\nIn these five classes\, we will delve into neuroscience\, hormones\, psychology\, emotional education\, and the rapidly evolving field of internet science\, all from the perspective of teenagers\, to help parents understand what exactly adolescents experience during puberty and come up with a plan to accompany them. \n\n【Course Outline】\n1. The Brainstorm of Adolescence [Change]: This class provides everyone with a basic understanding of “parenting education\,” serving as a review for those who attended last year’s first session and as a warm-up for new friends who haven’t attended Dr. Yiru’s classes before. What changes will occur to the parent-child attachment? We emphasize “setting boundaries\,” “adolescent brain\,” and “relationship transitions”. \n2. Hormonal Tricks [Diversity]: Are you ready for the physical changes your child is about to experience? Does the modern interpretation of “gender” make your head spin? Gender as a verb\, hormones as the driving force. The definition of gender has significantly changed from our upbringing. How can we progress with our children and synchronize with the times? This is an unavoidable topic. \n3. Emotional Education is Science? [Emotion]: “Emotional education” has been incorporated into youth education worldwide\, with whispers like “who likes who” and “who is dating who” often heard even in elementary and middle school grades… How should parents face this? You don’t need to face this alone; there are many digital and paper resources that can help us\, and Dr. Yiru will decrypt them one by one. \n4. Psychology of Secrets and Lies [Secrets]: Have you noticed that your child is keeping secrets? At this point\, parents often get anxious\, hoping that their child will always be honest with them… When children have secrets or tell lies\, it’s actually a sign of growth. What is the responsibility of parents? Let’s discuss what constitutes good secrets/bad secrets\, what constitutes white lies\, and their significance during adolescence. \n5. The Interpersonal Relationships of the Alpha(α) Generation [Internet]: “My high school daughter seems to be making friends online… What should I do?” Do you know what the Z generation and the α generation are? You are probably not familiar with the social behaviors of these digital natives. How should we deal with phones\, the internet\, and social media\, and their impact on our children’s friendships\, sexuality\, and gender? Let’s face it together\, knowledge is the power of not being anxious. (The above is the course plan\, subject to adjustment based on circumstances.) \n\n【Instructor’s Words】\nAs children grow older\, many parents with teenagers often express their frustration:\n“The child has changed.”\n“Is it him or is it me with the problem?”\n“Should I go see a doctor myself\, or should he go?”\n“I just can’t stand it.” \nThese questions and comments reveal a lack of understanding about adolescence.\nIndeed\, your child is experiencing an adolescent storm. His body\, mind\, brain\, and hormones are undergoing tremendous changes\, preparing him for the challenges of the future\, for becoming an independent adult. \nFrom what perspectives should we find a way to get along? As children change\, if parents do not take the initiative to understand\, the result is that they will push their children further away. \nI believe in evidence-based medicine science and hope to empower everyone. Helping modern parents avoid detours\, identify blind spots\, reduce conflicts\, and find ways to get along with their children sooner. Parents of young children\, you are fortunate. Cultivating deep relationships and fostering open learning from a young age will pave the way for better sex education and many others. \n\n

How to care and support children and adolescents who are experiencing depression\nSeries 4: 7/29 – Challenges of the Internet Generation: Preventing Addiction and how to talk to your children effectively about internet usage \n\n[Course Overview] Series 1 About 60 years ago\, British psychiatrist John Bowlby and others conducted research based on observations of interactions between infants and their mothers. They established the Attachment Theory which remains influential to date. According to this theory\, when their primary caregivers provide infants with enough security during early childhood\, children develop the motivation and courage to explore the external world. Moreover\, children will internalize this attachment style which in turn will influence their future friendships and romantic relationships. \nCoincidentally\, on the other side of the Atlantic\, Virginia Satir believed that the family is the first place where learning in human life begins. Our daily behaviors are just the tip of the iceberg\, with deeper internal factors lurking beneath the surface. Most of these internal motivations come from our experience of understanding the world as a child.\nTo help our children\, we need to further understand the needs and context beneath their behavior in order to provide more effective assistance. In this lecture\, you will learn how to use the Satir Model and apply the knowledge of Attachment Theory to deepen your understanding of your children and adolescents. \n\n【Course Outline】Series (1)\n1. (Single session)\nInstructor: Chen Naijing \n【Course Overview】\nDementia refers to brain diseases that affect older adults and gradually lead to problems with memory\, problem-solving\, or daily activities. Middle-aged individuals with certain health conditions or behaviors\, such as high blood pressure\, excessive alcohol consumption\, smoking\, depression\, low physical activity\, or poor diet\, have a higher chance of developing dementia in later life. These health conditions or behaviors can be classified as “modifiable risk factors” for dementia because lifestyle changes can reduce their impact.\nApproximately 50 million people worldwide have dementia. Without sufficient preventive measures\, this number is expected to double by 2050. Despite advancements in medicine\, we still struggle with dementia\, unable to find effective treatment methods\, and can only focus on early detection and prevention.\nControlling risk factors in middle age may help avoid or delay the onset of dementia or alleviate its severity in the future. Preventive measures can assist individuals in selecting the most suitable lifestyle adjustments to address risk factors.\nThis course can help you initiate preventive measures early and gain a better understanding to assist family members around you. \n\n【Course Outline】\n1.
